Default xxxt cr/sct conversion

I have a xxxt-cr and i was wondering, I'm wanting a xxxt-sct and found a conversion kit from crc. does Losi have it's own conversion kit out there, and is doing the conversion a good idea? I've never been real fond of the rtr kits ( seems like the materials they are made of is not as good as the race kits). It seems as though most the local tracks around don't run open truck anymore, they are all going to the sc trucks and I don't want my xxxt-cr go to waist. Could anyone give me some advise on this issue. I've seen one guy run one of the crc conversion kits on his xxxt and seems to do real well but was really wondering about if losi makes suck a kit, would rather stick to pure losi but any suggestions would be appriciated.

They share alot of the same parts, it would probably be cheaper for you to just buy the different parts needed to convert over to the SCT. ALso there is the otpion of buying the Bind-N-Drive and using your cr as spare parts.

Got the conversion kit tonight. Going to put it together, the one thing I don't care for the rtr parts they seem to be alot weaker than the kit parts. Plus my cr already has the good shocks and tranny. Guess I'll have to see how it goes.
