I want to use a regular car battery to power the RTR starter box.

How do I connect it? Do I hook the motors up like they are now?
Are they running 2 x 7.2 volt in the stock box as 14.4 volt?
If so, can I just make them run on a 12 volt car battery straight up?

Please can someone help me out here
I have ordered a new 8ight-T 2.0 but not got it yet so I can't even look inside the starter...

It is set up to use a 12v gel cell battery as well. You should be able to just add some kind of connector for your car battery and just plug it in. I can't remember what the default wiring is but it comes with the stuff to use 2 7.2 batts in series as well as a 12+v batt

Thank you Casey, I think I'll have to wait and look for my self inside the starter and then figure out how to wire it upp to my car battery!

but one of my cars does not fit on it it bottoms out.
