Adam,

I purchased an updated 2.0 truggy to run at the Horizon Shootout. The rear r&p started chattering during the first qual and I have had to reshim it after every heat race since.

I have tried replacing the inserts, bearings, and bulkhead but havent found the answer to the problem.

I am rebuilding again this week with the second new R&P gear, bearings, bulkead etc. and I was curious if there is a trick that you use to get yours to hold up.

I really like the way the truck drives, but this issue is getting frustrating.

Any sugestions will be appresciated.

Thanks,
Steve

racer357- I make sure the mess is tight. You should be able to feel a high spot with the mess. Also make sure you shim the diff tight from side to side. Every diff is going to shim a little different, but I currently have two thin shims on the right and two thick and one thin on the left of my 8ight T 2.0.

Hey Adam,
Here is a Truggy smart diff question. Mike
Hi there, I have both front and center smart diff for buggy and was wondering what parts i would need to fit them into my new 8ight-T 2.0?

Thanks in advance

Adrian

onerollin1- All you need is the front ring gear and possibly the spur gear depending on the gearing you are running.

What do you mean by "the mess"?
