What r some must have upgrade parts for a losi l8ight model chassis? I am running electric. I am thinking about getting the adjustable rear arms, but didn't know if there was anything else that is a big plus. Thanks,

I personally would recommend the Losi LOSA5420 15mm Aluminum Shock caps at least on the rear shocks.

I noticed that the plastic ones will wear rather quickly and you will have quite a bit of slop in the top shock mounting, which can cause inconsistent handling.

Another good upgrade is the King Headz KP-276 CVD Pin Keeper set. After a few weeks of use, the front CVD set screw will back off allowing the CVD pin to fall out even with locktite on the setscrew. This is an issue even with the 8ight off-road buggies/truggies as well. I have experienced this as well as several of my fellow local racers.

These keepers fit over the CVD input cups on the front and rear differentials and capture the CVD pins even if the set screw backs off.

While certainly not a must-have, I also installed the Losi LOSA1759 Adjustable LRC rear hinge pin brace and changeable inserts. These allow you to independently change toe and anti-squat for each side. Right now, I am running my setup in the 'stock' position and haven't had time to experiment with it.

Another item that will come in handy, especially during cleanup after the races, is the Losi rear A-Arm Guards LOSA1721 (or make your own out of thick lexan). Keeps a lot of dirt off of the rear A-arms, especially the left rear one that catches a lot of dirt from the front tires.
