The Tekin systems are very nice and you can have many programming options if you get the Hotwire for like $30 .

I also have the Losi Xcelorin and is a good system as well , that can be programmed by their card or with a computer .

Sensored systems have more controll on the bottom and mid range. Sensored is also required for stock classes as they do not make a "stock" sensorless motor. Sensorless are a little less money but harder to control. The upside is sensorless tend to have more top end then sensored motors.
Since it sounds like you want to race I would definately go sensored.
The Xcelorin systems work great. They are priced right and the speedo's produce a lot of punch.

Spektrum DX series of radio's are awesome. Incredible battery life. Super light weight and easy to use. They are on the inexpesive side of the native 2.4 ghz systems compared to the airtronics and futaba offerings which are about $100 more. I personally run the DX3R but the DX3S and DX2S are great radio's as well.

For servo's. Right now I like the Orion Vortex servos.

I am really looking forward to trying out a new spektrum servo but it is not out yet.
