Losi just released the MultiPro Intelligent Balance Charger (LOSB9606). It will charge up to 6S lipos, 8 cell NiMh, NiCd, LiFe, and lead acid. It can charge up to 5A and can discharge as well. It comes with a number of connectors making it easy to charge a wide range of batteries. It will also balance charge to keep your cells in tip top shape. I've seen some at the track already so check it out next time you see one.

Anthony, what's up buddy? Not sure about the RAC, I have something going on with the wife and kids on Saturday. I could maybe make it out on Sunday to donate my entry and try the bump game again.

I had the 9505 and they work great but I just got 9606 multipro and it is awesome! You can literally charge everything with it. I charged my starter box, rx pack, and even my glow igniter with the same charger... Very cool! Plus has a lot of charge/ discharge modes. Very impressive :)
I'm using the MuchMore Racing Silent AC/DC charger for my batteries.

Does Losi supply a power supply?
I have been looking but have seen no power supply from losi. I would like to ask though, can anyone suggest a good power supply/ac adapter

I recently picked up one of these chargers and i love it , except for the fact that i can not balance charge my Losi 2s lipo with it . A friend of mine at the local track here has the same problem with his Losi receiver pack . I just have to ask , is there another adapter i need to get to balance charge these packs ? And if so , why is it not included with the charger ? It would only make sense to have your charger be able to charge your packs , right ? I think it just might be an oversight no one caught .

I have a pair of the 9605 chargers. I run nitro only so the biggest pack I charge is only 2200mah (losi starter box lipo). For a power supply, I went to Fry's and bought a universal laptop power supply. Very small and light and can supply over 5 amps at 12volts. I really like the size and weight of the charger and the power supply.

Hiya Guys,
Just a quick question.
When it comes to Charge Rates whats the difference in a 50W to a 150W
I have seen many chargers at different price;s that charge lipo's but have different charge rates, this is where the price differs.
I am guessing it will have an effect on Charge Time.
If i want to balance charge a 4s Lipo 5000Mah 40c battery how long would it take using either a 50wat to a 150wat charge rate. I dont really understand that.
Cheers
Ben

you can't balance charge it because the plug won't go into the board?

thats the problem . The battery plug has 3 prongs , but the board has 4 , and thats the small one that is labeled for the 2 cell pack .

since the plug has less pins then the board, you plug it in on the left side of the board. the right side pin(on the board) won't be used. it will be a little difficult to plug it in because the plug from the battery has a ridge on it. i trimmed the ridge off, and it goes in pretty easy now. let me know if you get it.
