2010 Alabama Manf. Shootout.....and it's gonna be big!

Guys, this race is currently being put together for 2010. We will have several months to promote it and bring another awesome event to our backyard.

I expect 250-300 racers for this event and we will have several of the worlds best drivers at the event!

The event will again be at the Cullman Ag center as it proved to be a great place, close to hotels, food, and major airports.

The SIC was just held at this venue and had 200 racers and some great battles throughout the weekend. Although the surface proved to be very hard it did stay consistent and for once had awesome traction. I feel like with a few "layout" adjustments the track will be easy on equipment and be a blast to drive!

Believe when I say this will be one nice layout!

Over the months we will be releasing details along the way, the website, Factory drivers who are coming, sponsors, etc....

It will be in the Arena with one of most fun layouts seen in these parts!

So far we have 175 entries online with 18 paid. We have around 20 paid entries mailed in. So paid/unpaid we have just shy of 200 entries. I'm very excited about this as the race is still over 6 months away! We are very thankful to have the support of all the sponsors we have and the racers! Without you guys it would not be possible:)

We have a very large list of sponsors, and more still to come! These sponsors donations will go into all the classes other than pro. That's right....finally a race for the regular guy:) We have kit's, engines, rx packs, custome painted bodies, tires, radios, rx's, gift certificates, fuel, fuel, and more fuel, tools, kalgard products, bearings, air filters, servos, wraps and more!

The event has pro/open/sportsman buggy and truggy classes to make sure everyone has a place. We have a MT class we are working hard to promote(see website details), short course class($30 entry), and the popular/growing 1/8 electric buggy and truggy(see website details)!

The event is in a very large indoor arena with the best ventilation, outdoor pitting thats covered with power, lights, and a concrete pad. All this just steps from the drivers stand! No weather worries.

Event supplies a shirt with each entry and Track supplied Marshals with your entry! So all the racers have to do is sit back, relax, and race!

Jimmy Babcock will be the race announcer, calling everything through www.liverc.com!

We will have Pro Drivers in attendance signing autographs and answering questions.

Yes sir it will have a 350 entry limit. We will take the first 350 paid...so just play it by ear. You can put your name on the list and just watch the paid entries once we start advertising our specials for pre paid entries...

We hope everyone has a great Christmas and a Happy New Year! We are gonna gear down to spend time with the family and enjoy everything.

Just to touch base, for those who wish to pay now. We have about 10 spots left under our pre pay special. This will get you two free cans of Kalgard for your early entry, courtesy of Kalgard Racing.

If your serious about attending this event keep watch on everything and get your entry in when you can. I feel like things will pick up in January/Feb. We can only take 350 paid entries and we are at 123 as of today! We have over 450 people registered so this could fill up quickly.

The host hotel has 88 rooms left at our $45 rate. This hotel is nice and clean. It is also 2 miles from the event. It offers a free "real" breakfast each morning as well.

ok guys, with 4 months to go the race is looking great! We have a lot of factory guys paid and who have flight confirmations, we have a lot of manf. support, a big package of sponsors to give to the racers, great layouts, and even more important racers!

This event is looking to be one of the largest in the country for the year! With 4 months to go we have over 600 racers registered, and 230 paid!

That's right only 120 spots left so if you want to get in this event don't wait until the last minute. We are only taking 350 paid entries.
