Got a dt set up brushless w/3s lipos, having som bad handling issues. Or maybe im expecting too much. Ive tried heavier shock oil, think it was 30 wt.tried stiffer springs with alot of tunning, seemed to help. Seems like way too much side wall flex, i like my gearing where it is and dont want to change it to run low profile tires. Does anyone kno of a larger rim and low profile tire combination i can use that will keep my outside dimension close to stock (4")- i think it would have to be like a monster truck wheel, that and the name of a good low profile tire to fit thats descent in dirt as well as black top. Thanx in advance!

like no handling at all. the truck pretty much just slides all over the place. in turns the rear end squats and leans so much to the outside the inside front tire lifts off the ground then it tail spins out of control or does cartwheels end over end. i was thinking low profile tires would help keep it from doing that, you know-like lower center of gravity and no side wall flex. if you know of some other tweeking i could do-im open for any suggestions, thanx.

Maybe just a bit easier on the throttle finger
I run a MM5700 on 3s in my XXXT and use proline basher tires and rims I got from AMain last year and it is great but they dont seem to have them listed any more
Im wondering if any SC truck wheels will fit ? - wouldnt mind trying them :p
I havnt seen any low profile tires that are good in dirt - correct me if Im wrong with a link please :D (except Dirt Hawgs if they fit and are any good : click here (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/cPath/1_26_38/products_id/34348/n/Pro-Line-Pre-Mounted-28-30-Series-Dirt-Hawg-M2-2-Electric-Rear) ???

I ran a Sidewinder 4600KV setup with 2S 20Cs and the DT is on it back pretty easily on pavement with the Smasher XL tires (http://www.losipartshouse.com/servlet/the-28139/LOSA27686B-320S-Smasher-XL/Detail). And that is with the ESC turned to max punch control, lowest start power and lowest timing on Castle Link. A 3S would be insane in this truck. I moved the Sidewinder to the Speed T roller that I bought. The SPT and DT are almost the same truck. The diff, front bumper, shocks, rear body mounts, body and BL/Brushed are the big differences. Not sure yet if I will still run one as a DT and the other as a SDT this winter in Arizona or both as SDTs. I bought another set of SDT shocks on ebay. We race on a paved oval on a RV park in AZ. Missed a SDT body by a dollar.

A 3S lipo is the main problem , too much power . Try a 2S and you will then be able to control it . Going into a corner to fast with that much power will cause your to truck to act like that .
