Front Shock Towers

[Team-Losi XX-T]

Well I have an XX-T CR that I got from my uncle. It had a broken rear pivot block. I fixed that. Now I have a broken Front Shock Tower. I looked on ebay for ever, and can't find ANYTHING!!!!!! Any help will much be appreciated.

Good luck , I can`t find any place that has any since the parts are no longer being made .

(1)Might be in your best interest to buy a complete truck like this;

That way you have other spares as well for cheap.
(2)Check around with some of the Hobby shops that advertise on other forums/evilbay to see if they have old stock they would be willing to sell you.
(3)If this doesn't work out, you could get a sheet of fiberglass or graphite from a local plastics shop and build a new one or at least stiffen what you have.
(4)Contact the Awesome people who put on this Great web site and ask if maybe they have some old stock. Highly unlikely, but worth a try.

You might also want to take your broken part down to the hobby shop and see if they have any Duratrax Evader parts... I was told that the Evader is sort of a "knock-off" of the XX-T, and that at least some of the parts (I know one guy used the A-arms for example) fit..

Supposedly Duratrax bought the xx molds from Losi so should fit . I looked through LPH xx parts and they don`t have it . If you can`t get the tower from Duratrax I`d look into finding trucks for parts if there aren`t any towers on ebay or put it up on the shelf and find a XXX-T . Yu can find them pretty cheap these days .

Ok, Thanks for your help. I guess my best bet would be to put this one on the shlf and get a new one. I remember like 4 months ago ebay had about 28 listings of Front Shock Towers. Wonder what happened.

Well, good thing my Uncle owns his own plastic parts company. We can probably make are own like some1 already said. Woohoo!!!!! I also need a new body though....... The one I have is broken and not that good looking.

Well, the day finally came. I got my rear pivot block. I got it from my local hobby store.

It's the rear pivot block 2 degree CR, the one they use on the current buggy.

oh that reminds me, I remember this person said that the XXX-CR rear pivot block would

fit on the XX-T CR.


any help?
