hey all, has anyone had any length issues mounting a repro body? it seems the one i have is about 1/2 short. i could be wrong now, so ill edit this as soon as im sure. ive done some reference measuring, even scanned the JR2 box into photoshop, and i cant figure out anything else but that its too short. i bought 2 bodies for 2 projects, the first one is now a template (lesson learned). I modified to second one to compensate for the length issue. any insight on this? thanks...

**edit - I spoke to the seller, i had no idea the X2 and Pro chassis were different lengths, and that the bodys were different as well... although the X2 body is still short on the X2 chassis. awaiting more results - edit**

heres the Pro that im working on, the first of the 2 that i trimmed. im ready to re-create the chassis shorter just to compensate for another repro body. im trying to re-create the Pro box art, and this is where im at so far. btw, i make decals for a living, thos are 2.2 wheels with custom Pro wheel art. Im working on the Pro set now, just finished the JRX2 set for the other project.

as you found, the jrx-2 chassis is shorter than the others. the jrx pro, jrx-T, and junior series all share the same wheelbase. The pro-SE has the same wheelbase in the short wheelbase configuration, but it has an extra set of holes for getting an even longer wheelbase.

The front kick-up on the jrx-2 is 20 degrees, while the others are all 30. This will also contribute to changing the position of the mounting hole, and the position and angle of the side cutouts for the shock tower clearance.

if you are trying to put a jrx-2 body on a jrx-pro it will not fit without a lot of creative cutting. The jrx-2 uses a smaller rear shock tower and had the shocks inside the body. The pro used the pictured large rear shock tower with shocks mounted outside the body.

good luck.
