XXX SCT radio binding issues

Hey all I'm just want to run my truck!!!!
I have only been able to get 2 packs trough it, keeps coming unbound or takes hours to get it to bind. Horizon sent me a new receiver, just tried it, bound right away and now will not bind again. I followed all the steps from the manual. Any ideas??

That almost sounds like more of a RADIO problem than receiver -- the odds of getting two receivers that were both "bad" are fairly slim with Spektrum products. I'm just a racer - not sponsored or anything, but even the RTR Spektrum receivers have been rock solid for me. Having problems with two receivers just makes me wonder...?

What radio are you using?

PS: You ARE removing the bind plug after binding, right..? (insert bind plug, turn on, do the bind process, turn off, remove bind plug, then you are ready to run...) Sorry if this is obvious, but I've seen people leave the plug in...
