Hello Losi. I accidentally fried my esc that was in my 1/10 DT a while ago. How did I do this you ask? Well, I switched all the connectors on it over to Deans Ultra plus to go with all my other RC items. What happened is that I plugged the battery into the motor side and let the magic smoke out of the reverse side of the ESC. How did this happen? Easy...the ESC has the same color wired for the negative voltage on the motor and battery side! I would strongly suggest that you guys look at switching the motor side negative wire to the accepted blue color....ot any other color that black. It would also be nice for the positive wire to be a slightly different color to avoid all chance of a mixup. I did contact Losi customer service about repairs and they said that repair is not offered! HUH! They informed me that with the low cost of the product, to just buy a new one! Come on guys! I am not to concerned about this now as I have since upgraded to a Tekin RSPro brushless system. But please strongly consider the upgrade!
