XXT Transmission Question

I have a LXT with the XXT transmission conversion. The question is, will a XXXT transmission fit in the XXT's Place? Can anyone point me in the right direction?:confused: Thanks In Advance.

without a lot of custom work the xxxt trans will not fit in the LXT. The xx retrofit for the lxt is a special gear case which fits direct on the lxt but uses xx internals. The standard xx or xx-T gearbox case does not fit the lxt either.

some of the internals from the XXX should fit the XX and xx-retrofit though, so if your lxt gear case is in useable shape you should be able to make a good transmission with the guts of the XXX-t unit.

Thanks for the info. I may buy a spare lxt for cheep just to mod it to fit the xxxt tranny.:rolleyes: I'll post it when I do.
