I got the opportunity to review the RC Custom Zone single servo conversion for the MLST series a couple of weeks ago. Things got a little busy here and there, but now I finally have some time to sit down and do proper review of this upgrade. I wanted to go ahead and say thanks to makakoa808 for the chance to review this product. Not only did it make me put my truck back together, it gave to a chance to address some of the issues that plagued this truck, and now I'm happily bashing away :yahoo
On to the review/instructional:
All of the parts were already assembled when I got the single servo kit in the mail. The single servo kit addresses the stock servo issue by creating a single mount for a full 1/10 scale servo. Unlike the LXT Exotek single servo conversion, the servo sat laterally along the center line of the truck, and the steering links were designed to directly connect the servo to the steering hubs making better use of the servo's torque.
