I installed the alloy upgrade kit into my Mini T that Integy offers, and since then when I gun the throttle, I get a clicking noise and it doesn't take off as quickly as before. I tore the transmission down and checked the differential, but I don't see that the gears are excessively worn. I'm running the Losi 1100 mah battery and the stock motor right now. I'm not sure if it's the slipper clutch making the noise as it slips or not, but I fugured since it gained some weight from the alloy upgrades it might be the case. I've adjusted the slipper several times, but it still seems to be an issue. Thoughts? I'm considering getting a new alloy slipper and a ball diff. I'd appreciate any input.

Thanks for the suggestion. Since the diff is now housed in an aluminum transmission case, I suppose I might need to shim the diff up until I get the ball diffs.

yea, im sure it is a shimming problem since your running an aluminum case. Im not positive but the rc18 shims may work and their only a couple bucks.

I got lucky and had some washers that fit perfectly. They came from a 2 speed upgrade for my XTM Racing XT2. Once I got those in place it was solid. I just ordered some ball diffs, new servo, receiver and the Losi 8200 kV brushless system. Can't wait to get those installed and see what she'll do. Thanks for the advice guys!
