Great looking track.
But what's with the astroturf and stick radios in the UK? :)

The astroturf is because of the weather. Here in Scotland we have lots of rain....wind....and more rain! So Astroturf is the sensible option if you want to race all year round.
As for the sticks......I have no idea! :p I am a Nomadio guy......but lots of the "older guys" at our club still use sticks......I suppose they maybe started before wheel/gun Tx'x were around.
The stock setup Losi 8T 2.0 copes with the Astro well.....it is by far the most popular truck at the track.

It must also make cleaning almost a non issue running on astro. :)

Thats also makes a difference.....means that you can concentrate on maintenace instead of cleaning muck.

Hi Euan,
I race the losi 8ight 2.0 truggy on astroturf to, only had this truggy about a month moving on from a 1/8th buggy . Could you tell me what set up your using as im struggling to find any information for the 8ight 2.0 truggy on astro turf. The truggy is in standard set up apart from xtm grinder tyres.
Any information would be much appreciated
Regards Ross...
