My 1/8 xcelorin esc died on me today, or at least that's what I suspect.

All through the day and with decreasing time of proper operation, my rx would loose all power. Checked the battery leads, all was fine, ESC showed only the blue LED lit. Rx had no LED lit, no light in the transponder either. Once power was discnonected and then reconnected everything would work just fine, that is until I drove the car for ten seconds. Then same sympton as beforementioned.

First thought it was the rx, but a quick install of a backup discanted that idea.

Only thing left is the BEC must have failed.

Btw, one of the capacitors broke of as well. All in all a real crappy day for me.

Is this even worth sending it in for repair, I asume the BEC failure is covered? Not so sure about the capacitor.

OK new symptom. Now it refuses to turn the motor, all LED's show there should be nothing wrong. Green when applying throttle, Red when braking and blue when at neutral.

This thing has been raced not abused, run well within it's limits.

In most cases its true, since that person would not be able to think str8, and would have their mind rushin, and would not do the same action as they would if they were in a calm mood.
