I took my 1/10 losi desert truck out for the first time it was running great.

But then all of a sudden it would not turn left or right just forward and back.

I tried the controller and the wheels still would not turn side to side.

When I went to look at it, the servo was hot and it was making a humming noise as if it was trying to move but something would not let it.

I looked at it and i can not see any thing that would keep it from moving.

I didn't use it long & I was just driving it in my yard.

I know it is not my battery being low because i just charged it.

So can any one help me find out why my wheels will not turn?

Yeah, sounds like you burned out your servo. What are you using for a battery? Don't know the specs on this particular truck, but I've had a couple of vehicles that when I switched to Lipo, I had to install this current limiting thingy (don't remember exactly what it's called) cuz you're sending 7.4 volts to your servo and they'll usually only take up to 6 volts.

Also, might be a silly question but did you take off the servo horn and make sure the steering is working and not binding anywhere? Hope you get it figured out

I'm using a Venom 3300 7.2V NIMH Battery pack

Its acting almost like when you take a old clock and put something in between the gears it will keep pushing but nothing will move.

When I looked at it last I did notes that the Short Ball Cup was pointing up and I put it back to being horizontal but it still would not turn the wheels.

But it will turn one way now and then every so often if its bumped by something but stay there.
