Not bad. I think we should start seeing a few more aftermarket parts for these mini and micro's now.

That is very cool. Not a bad price with spektrum either.

WHY?? lets see more race vehicles.. like factor team kits and stuff and less toys, like all the minis. i think the mini oval is great. i run the crap out of my ole slider.. but more race vehicles like a late model or stuff like that needs to be made!!

as i said in the other topic, im a buggy guy, i like this buggy. but it would have fit better to do a mini 8ight e... just please dont do a micro version of this.. id like to see more of a sleek and slick buggy for the micro and mini's. the 8ight has got all of that already ;)

I hope this gets re-released in 1/10th or even better 1/8th... then it would be really sweet.
I reckon it looks really sweet, this in 1/10th is what the desert truck should have been.
Even though I am not a fan or even like the idea of the smaller scales (not as fun to me), I would still consider buying this one.
Although to be fair I would still like to see Losi step it up a notch, I am sure they have the ability to.
Will these come BND?

I'm sure losi is gonna come out with a 1/5 scale to compete with the hpi baja...
I like this little desert buggy... can't wait to see it in 1/10 scale

1/5 scale would rock.
1/5th mixed with the looks of the desert buggy would be ****** awesome.
I can't wait until this gets released as a 1/10th, if it does.

Going to get one for sure with the lights. I hope Losi comes out with a 1/10 scale version. If there is enough demand I am sure they will. I bet that will sell more than the Slash would.

yeh i think the would make a killing with a 1/10 buggy, and make it in 3 different versions, a basic RTR (plastic, but upgradable) and a Brushless RTR version(with sum alloy and a CF deck), and then a Carbon fiber and all alloy build it yourslef kit(add ur own electrics etc.) no one has done this for buggys yet so i think they should>>
next thing, i want them to make this in 1/36th, the Micro DB the micro desert buggy, it should come standard with ball bearings and threaded axles, as well as the normal ESC/reciever combo and motor, i know that one thing for sure is that they would make a lot of money on a 1/36th one of these as most people would love a micro buggy, most people have already made their own custom buggys etc. but i believe that losi should bring this out as a 1/36th, this would be the best and most funnest 1/36 micro, because all the current micros are great but.... they are all RWD, so this buggy would be perfect as buggys are RWD, like when u look at the High roller all i could think about it was why didnt the release a 4WD version, and also Team Losi make a 1/36 Crawler, these would be a massive hit, as you could just go crawl on your garden or just some little stones, would make a new class and would be a great hit. well that is my micro and buggy wrap up for this week, or until they release sumthing else :)

Yes, I think they will sell quite a few but nothing close to the Slash which is undoubtedly better.

Losi would have to create brand new tooling for something 4 wheel drive. I am sure they will when they come out with a universal 4wheel drive platform.
This buggy shares allot with their current lineup which keeps costs down and the components can be easily shared with one another.
My list of hopups for this will be brushless, lipo, aluminum shocks, lights, and some chrome, rims if they come out with different colors maybe the Spectrum radio and a white and orange body. :D

It may just be but it resembles a real life size buggy (at least the closest I have seen anyway), which to me makes it pretty good, it looks good.
If only it was a bigger scale, 1/8th using 1/10th methods/designs would be pretty good as it would be a bit bigger still and should still be able to run 2s.

I wish they would come out with a new 4 wheel drive mini and micro platform. Seems like there beating the two wheel drive platform to death..not counting the mini crawler.. But it is nice to have more mini and micro vehicle options and styles...

I would love to see this in 1/10th. I've got a Desert Truck and Strike but I think one of these in a larger scale would be superb. I'm old enough to have owned an original Sand Scorcher and I love the scale look of this. More please...!!

I hope that Losi make's this in a 1/10 scale for 2010. I think it would be a big seller for them. 1/10 scale is a big class for racing and thats what most people do.
