I have placed other comments about this in other threads and gotten no response so I spose its time for a thread of its own.
I have tried to reprogram the first 3 profiles on my xcelerin 1/10th sensored esc only to find that once I change to another profile whatever changes I had made to that profile were lost and they default to what appears to be the factory settings. I have reprogramed the last 2 profiles (#'s 4 and 5) to my own liking and it appears they have maintained my settings even after viewing or choosing another profile to utilize.
So I am led to believe that the first 3 profiles can only have temporary changes made to them. Lasting in memory only untill you either power down, or change to another profile.
And,
If so then when will another qpc card be available with all the settings available to it. ie: 0 drag brake, and the various punch settings (initial acceleration).
As in my crawler I use various batteries depending on what I grab at the moment. whether 7.2, 8.4, or 9.6 volt ni/mh or 2s or 3s lipo and fiddling around trying to get it working correct in the field is nuts. so for now i kinda have to set profiles 4 and 5 for what batteries I have at the moment here on my pc, then go play.
Kinda nit piking I realize as it appears to be a very good unit with great potential and I like mine a lot. Just would be nice to set profiles up on the pc at home and then just go play and choose another profile if need be because of battery capacity change, etc. and not limited to just 2..
Now if I can also just keep oil in the front 2 shocks, rears aren't bad at all but the fronts weep terrible from the seals.
Have fun and keep the wheels down. ttfn

how did you get a #4 and #5 profile? my software doesnt give me an option for more than the three existing profiles. or are you using the 1/18th scale software?

Profiles 4 and 5 were added to allow you to save off your customized settings. They are accessed through the PC Setup Software under Commands drop down menu at the top of the window. Profiles 1-3 are factory presets to get you up and running quickly. As soon as you make any changes to the active profile either with the QPC or the PC you have created a new active profile. The settings for 1-3 are not permanently changed and as soon as you select a new profile and try to reselect the old profile 1-3 it will be back to the factory defaults. For most people having two custom profiles has been sufficient primarily for setups for different tracks. But if the crawler community needs more profiles maybe that's something we'll have to take a look at.

Thanks for the questions. Hope this helps.

My drop down in commands only give me "restore factory default" no option for any other profile

So to identify the 5 different profiles you get

Profile 1. Yellow blue lights
Profile 2. Yellow blue green lights
Profile 3. Yellow blue green red lights

And profiles not in the instructions

Profile 4. Blue red lights
Profile 5. Yellow Green lights

Is this right?

Also if you make any changes with pc software and choose just to send it to esc rather than write to profile (4/5) it will write to profile one?
