Also coming soon to Joplin RC Speedway is the 2009 NSCS Series Finals on September 19th. There should be a very strong, competitive field of 1/8 Scale Latemodels there so if you want to see where you stack up against some good competition, you will not want to miss this race!

See you there!

Sweet late model Homer - but they don't race the 1/18th scales in Joplin to the best of my knowledge - or at least not at any of the events I've been to.

BUT, Joplin is a GREAT track - very racy and lots of fun to drive!

Here's a LINK (http://chris-k.smugmug.com/Other/NSCSSooner-Shootout-Joplin/10012887_3jHQG/1/685130143_mqVck) to my pictures from 10/17/09 and this LINK (http://chris-k.smugmug.com/Other/The-CARS-action-shots/NSCS-Finals-91909-Joplin-RC/9725179_VXrPZ/1/658052397_hGTcJ) to the NSCS finals 9/19/09.

I hope to make many trips there next summer!!!!!!

Some pretty nice cars in there, like the track. Now just wish I was back towards Branson, Mo or back in NY so I could enjoy dirt oval racing.
