Do you use a Lipo Reciever pack. Is it a Must to use the regulator when using the non high voltage servos. If so is it better to use the one with a switch or the one with out the switch. It looks like the one with the switch would go in the reciever box, not the battery box.

ive been using lipo reciever pack for awhile now. its way better ,longer run times... 4 sure. i use the reg. without switch ,just use it between batt. and reciever . works nice

If you are using NON-HIGH voltage servos you HAVE to use a voltage regulator. If you do not, the servos will eventually burn up with the extra voltage being supplied to them. Generally all NON-HIGH voltage servos run off of 6.0V. A 2S LiPo is 7.4V.
As for the switch, that is up to you. I personally always use the regulator with the switch since it is more convienent.
