I decided to give this a try instead of 40-60$ for a "official" Ott-Lite
It was 23$ with tax.

I figure it's better than a clip on light with a florescent bulb in it :D

Picked up my light today, I think it will work well for a pit light.
Black plastic construction. Fairly stable when opened. Did not have to adjust the side screws, the light top held open on it's own. Light turns on when it is opened, shuts off when
closed.
Last photo is the light itself on, only my computer monitor about 3 feet away in the room. No Flash.
Good deal for 23$ bucks.....I don't see myself spending 40-60$ on a Ott-Lite.

Is it tall enough?

Is it tall enough?
The light is 10" from the table if it is level. Never had an Ott-Lite, so not sure if it is any taller. Good enough for what I need it for.
This also uses a 13w bulb. Prob can use the same Ott-lite replacement.
