I bought a xxx-nt rtr years back, after driving it for years found that it really didn't need any upgrades. Things a Tank! The truck sat for 2 years at one point and the dynamite .15 started up second pull. To be honest the only thing I've broken on it is the front suspension arm. Nailed a pole. Great Truck!

There are a number of places you can get parts on eBay. I have replaced the shock towers, arms, spindle carriers and just about every other piece you can possibly break. Replaced with aluminum parts. I have also had to replace the gas tank. Parts are readily available

Its an older engine but you can usually find them on ebay but I have a OS .12 CVR in mine and it is awesome! I picked it up used for like $45 and its been great...now I purchased a new NOva Rossi .12 that Im installing...it has a pilot shaft instead of standard so that took some time to figure out but im almost ready to start it up. The OS .12 CVR fits right in..very easy!

So back to the guys question....is it a vintage or no? I have one also that I'd like to race in the vintage. I have an os max .18tz in mine. I can't belive the power and speed it has. I almost need a wheelie bar. I can lift the front end up through out the power band. And it runs like a top.
