Be prepared for 50 million different combos people are going to suggest.
I've switched to Futaba servos after having too many issues with JR's.
I have the Futaba Digital S9157 in my truggy steering (425oz. , .14 transit) one of the best servoes I have ever owned. No problems steering!!!
Buggie I have a Futaba BL351 (217oz. , .13 transit) in the steering, so smooth with the transmitter's input.

I cant seem to find the Hitec 7940's i can find the 50's but not the 40's so any help would be great. Do I use the 40's for both steering and throttle?

I like the JR 9100 series servos for steering. 9100S for steering in buggy and 9100T for truggy . Been running them for a few years now with no problems and if there is a problem JR has a 3 year warranty .

as briguy says switch the insert in the throttle servo arm and i would suggest for the steering that you use one of the arms that comes with the hitec servo, pick one with the hole the same distance oput as the stock arm,or even better use one of these alu arms from losi!

You will need to run the #24 inserts. You can run the 7940's with lipo or NiHD batteries.

Hey Adam
do you have any problems with your hitec 7940 servos?
Would you recommend buying them?
Here someone says you had to quit a race due to servo issues:

Is that true?
Would be very happy if you answer

I've had great luck with the 7940's in buggy.

What is a good double servo arm to replace the stock double servo arm with inserts? Or just stick with the stock one?
