I'm looking to rebuild my diffs on my Aftershock LE and was curious what weight you put in yours. Currently I have grease in mine that I definitely want to get rid of. The manual says 10,000 weight but I've heard different things. I also was thinking about installing the Losi 8 diff cases on mine for some durability. One last thing I'm curious about is what do you use for your transmission? I put the same grease in it that I have in my diffs and I think I wanna use something a little more forgiving.

It depends. In my nitro I run 35,000 in front and rear. In my brushless I run 45,000 in front and rear. I also run 17mm tires on my brushless and the stock tires on my nitro. I have found that it depends on the surface you are running on I race/bash at a track. I do not run my cars at any other place. I have also found that it depends on your shocks also fluid and springs. For my transmission I use high temp grease a thin coat on the gears and I use speed X on all of the bearings. hope this helps
