I just got my 8ight 2.0 a couple weeks ago and just noticed that my rpm/speed isn't working on my dx3s. The temp shows up fine but rpm/speed doesn't work. What could be the cause of this problem. The truggy is bone stock. One more thing is that is it normal that my 2 rear shock ends gave out and my truck bottomed out, the treads on the shock ends were stripped. I haven't run my truck hard nor did I do crazy jumps with. Just wondering if anybody else had any issues with these, Thanks Phon:D

I had a shock end pull out on the rear of my buggy Saturday. The shafts werent stripped and the rod end was still in ok shape so I was able to reassemble and finish the race. Definitely an area to check (mine came out of the first run with little stress place on it) before you set it on the track.

As for the RPM sensor, check to make sure the reflective strip and sensor are clean and within the recommended distand (1/8" as I recall). Mine never was reliable so I removed it from the car (just extra clutter anyways).

Im guessing your shocks were pulling out? I had 4 shocks pull out in a month and when you take out some of the droop on the a arms it limits the shock travel therefore you won't have your shock pull out. I hope this helps.
