peak raider with the stock esc

i have a mrc that i wana put a peak raider in2 and i was wondering if the sock esc will hold up or will i fry it out...im running a 800mah 2 cell lipo with a 60t spur and either a 9 or 10t pinion gear with cut n shut panthers on it any help is grateful..

I can't find any information about your Peak motor. If it's close to a 20turn you'll be fine with the stock speed control.

I run the stock speed control and a Losi Slider motor (http://www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB1216) geared as low as you can go. It gets warm after about 5 minutes but the power and torque is awesome so I just keep an eye on the time so it won't over heat.
