The LCC is making an impact on the crawling scene here in Nebraska.
At our comp last Saturday there were 4 of them running. They just happened to finish 1 through 4. :D
The three that were running Eritex Inc MOA kits were the top three.

I finished 3rd and it was my first time out with this new rig.

Thanks Jay! I've learned that two more of the guys are building LCC rigs too.

One of the guys joked that our next series would be an LCC IROC series. LOL

That's funny you mention that, here in Colorado there has been a jump in sales since I got back from the Worlds. It only takes one big event to show people that this rig is way better then they first thought. I kinda like that.... :D

That is great to hear...there is no denying that we've had hit some bumps in the road to get here, but it's great to see the Comp Crawler doing well and starting to live up to our expectations...it's only going to get better :)

And your efforts are truly appreciated guys!

I have told people that the LCC is the only crawler that I have personally seen somebody take out of the box, add electronics and wheel weights, and win a comp with. He was an experienced crawler, not a rookie, but it does say a lot about the rig.

I am definitely looking forward to starting our fall series.

We had another comp last Saturday. It was a 1-2-3 for Losi again, in fact LCCs were 5 of the top six spots. http://myrcmt.com/review/images/gallery/albums/userpics/10015/thumbs.gif

after alot of research I pulled the trigger and bought one. My decision was based on the fact that you get alot of crawler for the money; dual dig, worm gears and nice aluminum Ti coated shocks and what is claimed by many to a lot of rig for the money. I haven't had the best of luck with some Losi products in the past as far as reliability goes but things are improving. I have read that some people are having a few minor issues that IMO are just that, minor. And like the CVD axle update, Losi came through and replaced all the "bad" ones with updated parts...and that is what counts. In reality even some of the really high end rigs have issues and all of them seem to share the same problems weak axles, cvd's etc. I am a mechanical designer and have learned that what you believe to be strong enough from an engineering standpoint will usually be proven weak by a user. I use to joke that my mom could destroy the best of vacuumes in a matter of minutes. Her Electolux was in the shop monthly. She always claimed that the stuff was junk and would never believe me when I told her a carpet vacuum was not designed to pick up 2 inch nails:o.
