Lipo rx pack protection

Has anybody installed a low voltage cutoff switch to prevent their LiPo receiver pack from running low? I have the Losi 2 cell and although it indicates it has overcharge and low voltage protection, I over used it just getting my new servos set up. I had to cheat and use a non-lipo charger to get enough power back into it before my lipo charger would recognize it. All of the postings I have found for low voltage cutoff devices apply to use with an ESC.:confused:

I doubt you'd ever run into a situation where your pack got that low in the future. I'm not sure if the voltage regulators have a cutoff as well but it's something you could look into.
