Hiya all
What is needed to make a 1/10 model car I have, changed to 2.4ghz radio gear. Do I just need a controller and receiver? Is it that simple?
Please advise :)
Many thanks

Yes, you'd need a transmitter and reciever. Don't know what kind of car you have, but you may also need a new speed controller, motor, good lipo battery...............

Uh , no .
You do not need a new speed controller , motor , or lipo to run a 2.4ghz radio system . Those have nothing to do with changing to 2.4ghz radio .
Whichever brand 2.4 system you go with all you need to change is the receiver in your car . Make sure to follow the directions so you properly bind the radio to the receiver .

Agreed, just a Tx & Rx would suffice, just assuming that if it's being upgraded to 2.4 must be AM at present all the other electronics may be out of date also. But then, I do tend to get a little carried away with my upgrades LOL

I have a question. I have a micro sct and want to upgrade to the 2.4 ghz receiver and 8.7kv motor. My question is what kinda transmitter should I get? And, when buying the 2.4 ghz upgrade kit, is the transmitter the only other thing I need to get?
