Hi to all again.

So as many of you know I have a losi xxl and I'm having some issues with my receiver. I don't know if your supposed to turn on the remote before the truck?? But when I do this the truck is fine. Doesn't want to turn left tho. It's real slow to turn left. Then problem starts when I get the truck fired up the truck starts gliching and won't give me any steering at all. Until I flick the receiver the it stops. Don't get me wrong this doesn't happen all the time just every other day which it's kinda getting old. The other problem I'm having is when I give it throttle the truck pulls to the left. I have the steering set to zero the suspension is loaded right. I think I got junk servos or the left on is junk. I'm also wanting to know can you change out the batteries for the truck to get longer run times. Because I'm lucky to get two or three tanks with a full charge.. thanks to all who reply with answers and help..

I usually get atleast 8 tanks threw my aftershock before my battery goes dead then i switch to my double a pack and geat anouther 5-6 if i rember to unplug it befor i put it up. First try to plug your steering survo plug into the reciver better should be a prety snug fit. mabey your left survo is out of sync with the right? and sounds like you could use a new battery pack with a hair more voltage for more power to the survos?

Hey thanks for the response..

What size is your tank?? The servos are fine now. I unplug the truck after every run now and the servos are fine..The only problem I'm still having is when I'm at full throttle the truck pulls hard to the left. I don't know what's causing that. I do know the diffs are fine and giving power to both wheels. I'm just wondering what could be the problem!!

Maybe you have something causing the diff to feel resistance on the right side making it transfer the power to the left side thus making the truck pull to the left. As far as the servos gliching use shrink wrap over all metal linkage that touches because the pieces touching can cause the servos to glich

i just had the diff apart on mine and unless you were able to run hafe the diff with 5,000 oil and hafe with 10,000 there shouldnt be anything that would make it pull to one side due to the diff IMO.

Tank size is the stock 170cc im fixen to change to a 75cc tank to save weight caues weight, even just a few ounces can be a big advantage in sled pulling.

It can be anything from the axle carrier bearing or diff bearing being defective to the dog bone binding up or the diff cups being cocked on the shafts that could cause resistance at high speeds and thus making the truck pull to one side

I found that when this happens also you rebind the radio depending on which one you have. Also I had a simular issue I found that I had a bearing that was going bad. It would lock up from time to time. I decided to run it like it was and the bearing literally shattered and threw the complete assemble out and popped the dogbone out of the carrier. That was a very stupid and expensive mistake.
