Ok, so i am torn between foam and rubber stock tires for carpet oval tracks. What do you guys think? My current setup is stock rubbers on the rear and foams on the front. I am considering going foams on all 4 with several days soak time prior to race day? Your opinion?!

Sorry, I dont race on carpet but I do race with foam and rubber tyres. The main difference that I find is the consistancy of the grip.

Foam will give very consistant levels of grip, while rubber tends to be much more temp sensitive. And if you overheat rubber tyres then they harden and never grip again.

Having rubber at one end and foam the other must give very interesting results as the tyres heat up.
