there was indeed an over load of choices before
and i guess with the drop of number of kits and increase of new rtrs that are constatly coming out must have made the demand for tires go down.
every new kit has its unique tires and alot of them are realy awsome
that or some one else is making the best tires now
even pro-line has cut alot of there choices of tires

losi was a part of GRP will the Grp plant burnt down
http://www.neobuggy.net/modules/news/article.php?storyid=6249 wich means that all of there stock went down thats why losi dropped the GRP engine line and tire line alos Thats why Drake isent on Grp any more
and i think if losi joins with AKA it will be so sick AKA tires coming stock on a 8ight would be isane

Nobody races on dirt anymore.. its clay everywhere...
I don't think there is too much to worry about with 1/8th scales.. pretty much anything works on those heavy things.. as for 1/10th.. I think Losi still needs a tire in between something like a X-3000 and an IFMAR pin... still nothing like a Holeshot or Double-Dee which seems to be the tire around our local tracks... though most are starting to go more clay.. sigh....
Off-Road is supposed to be racing in dirt!
I miss the days when meaty tires like a step-pin was used just about everywhere... but that was when most off-road tracks where outside and raced like they should be!

Agreed step pins, gladitors, stubbie t's y design, losi rib fronts with no foam..... (okay most of them are proline but it is what i could remember running).

Yeah it seems like everything is going toward 1/8th scale now and 1/10 scale is the dirty step child!
