Hi Guys,

Im from Australia and have just purchased a losi 8ight 2.0 rtr buggy and have upgraded the servos with ace 1015s but there doesnt seem to be a throttle servo arm to suit the 25 spline , is there inserts you can purchase to suit the standard servo arm ? I have the aluminium arm for the steering servo but they don't seem to make anything for the throttle/Brake.

Any ideas would be great as no one out here knows a thing about these buggys, i would of liked to get JR servos to avoid this problem but out here they are in access of $300 dollars each and the aces are $120 each.

Thanks

I used the one that came with the servo. You will have to drill out the holes for the break and throtle linkage.

I did the same thing. Losi don't have an insert to suit.
Just drill out the stock ace horn and you should never have a problem. The ace horns very strong

Ace are as above same as Futaba, being 25 spline, but the fitment is slightly loose on the Ace.

LOSA9167 (http://www.amainhobbies.com/product_info.php/products_id/7793/n/Team-Losi-Servo-Arm-Inserts) has a 23, 24, and 25 tooth servo insert.

The insert is fine on the throttle but the steering it strips... so use the ace arm for the steering. It should be a futaba type spline like someone stated above though.

I have the Ace 1015 for steering and used the arm that came with the servo. I used a thumb drill to make the last hole on the arm big enough to 'just' get the screw to thread through it. Works great. It's a strong arm and theres not even a need to cut the other side off as it does not interfere with anything else.
