Who here has done one?
I remember years ago waiting for Amain to finish their conversion kit. Never happened

holy smokes, thats some good ideas for a 4wd truck.

too bad they gave up 3 years ago!!!

they must have run into some problems.

the tires might be at the big end of what the car can handle, it might be less strain to make it a sc stlye truck.

i think it would be a sweet add on to the losi line up, they have no 1/10 4wd truck

most of the race rollers are 4wd, they know that is what performs the best, and 1/10 scale is soo much fun because you need less room to spin around.

Actually, it's pretty easy to do. They make the carriers....they're instock. All you need to do is use different wheel hex's and body mounts and change your gear ratio to compensate for the larger tires.

everthing is easy to say but some times making it is a bit harder.
like i said i'm sure it's been done
just with the big tires and then a lower gear to help the motor it puts extra strain on belt, ball diffs, out drives, axles, everthing ...the xxx-4 g+ was put together with mall buggy tires in mind, i'm sure it would wear faster, break more.
but if it was run with a slow brushed motor it might be more resistant

still wish losi would do the work so all we have to do is buy it!!

If you do want to get the front caster blocks, the former owner of a-main raceway (it went out of business) still has a few pairs left. He can be reached through his website www.hthobbies.com or possibly on the rctech forums under "crazyrcguy"

I have seen a xxx-4T run and it is quite fast. The conversion works great just the owner had to make some custom parts to make it happen. I would love to see this class takeoff but sadly I never see it happening.

If LOSI came out with a 4wd truck I'd hope it's a Short Course Truck!!!!
Those types of trucks are selling like wildfire right now.

Hmm I have a xxx-4 laying around......
