1/8 xcelorin calibration....?

i have a new losi 8e that came with the 1700kv system and i cannot seem to get the calibration to work properly, when i go to calibrate it as per instructions, hold down button and turn switch on the yellow light will glow solid, when yellow light is on solid release button and pull full throttle until green light glows solid and then full reverse untill red light glows solid and the release to neutral and then blue light glows solid and vala calibration complete. now the problem i have is everything works fine until i get to the last part when you go to neutral the blue light flashes and then goes out and does not turn on solid.

i am using an airtronics mx3-x-fhss radio and have tried reversing the throttle servo, changing to legacy transmiter my trims are at 0 and still does not work.
does anyone have any suggestions?
