So I've been searching around for info on upgrades and mods that are necessary on the
8T 2.0, and so far this is what I've found:

-Switch to the 1.0 steering plastics/servo saver
-Run some offset rims or dremel to avoid wheel rub
-Buy spare shock ends, possibly V1.0's?
-Velcro the battery tray and lipo for added security
-Is it better to switch to plastic spurs?

Like I said, this is the info I found, just looking for some other experienced opinions for possible mods/upgrades. Also I will be racing for the first time with the rig next year, bashing for the fall with practice laps before the snow flies. I plan on running a pletty bigmaxximum with a schulze 18.97KW, on 4 and 5s.

Thanks in advance!!

I ran plastic spur in my 8ight buggy incase something went wrong and then the spur would strip (happened once) and there alot more quiet.
When I first went to the track i was only running the standard gorilla battery strap and went over a jump, just didn't make the distance and watched my new $270 lipo going flipping/rolling along the track. Later on added some velcro to the bottom of the tray and lipo and never had a problem.

Yeah that's no fun....also it looks like smart diffs are the way to go.

I have to apologize, I've been a revo head for the past year, just bought my 8ight T and am learning the Losi ropes! But very happy to be here......
