Hello
First of all - sorry for my bad english writing.

I own a Losi Xcelorin 1700kV and heard about new carbon rotors for the motor.
In my motor there is a cevlar rotor that loses his cevlar layers - so i want to buy a new one.

So please, can anybody give me a ordercode from this item or tell me where i can get it in Germany?

Greetings Seppi

Moin Seppi!!

ich versuch mal in englisch zu antworten, was ich so über das thema weiß. hoffentlich rührt sich da mal wer. meine Kontaktversuche zu Robitronic blieben erfolglos.

Hey seppi,

I have read that you can get the new rotors without any problem, at least in the us. You simply send the "old" rotor, wrapped with kevlar bonding, to Horizon Hobby, and get a new one.

In Germany, Robitronic in Vienna is responsible. I have contacted those guys some months ago. First, I have been told that they have never heard about that. Later, they have told me that they get a few new rotors for replacments.
I have contactet them later on a couple of times, and they always answered that they haven't received the new, carbon wrapped rotors yet.

After about 10 email I gave up... sad enought that these great motors are hardly sold in Germany, there is also no customer support... I was about to buy the xcelorin esc too, as I am very happy with the motor, but guess what? The esc was not available for many months...

The rotor of my Losi 1700kv got damaged. I think it's sand that gets into the motor, that sand just kills the kevlar wrapping. I tried to put some super glue on the kevlar, to avoid more damage. I don't want that the entire motor gets damaged because of some loose magnets. After I have sealed the kevlar with super glue for 3 times, the rotor looks "stable", at last. I also sealed the holes in the front to avoid dirt.

hey seppi, If you get a new rotor, I would like to get one too. my rotor doesn't look that good anymore...

Thanks Flow.
Does anybody else know how to fix this problem?

I think it's very sad to hear nothing from an offical Losi representative.... :(
