I wouldn't get it. If it's 100 bucks I would rather pay an extra 23 for the 1/10 scale size.

Waste of money in my opinion.

(It's 123 dollars at my hobby store)

I got to have one  and i'll be selling my micro desert truck. The high roller has much more clearance then the DT! ;)

I got one and very impressed wheelies and all!!

Isnt it the same as the Micro Raminator with a diffrent shell? Or am I wrong?

TyHodge07
09-18-2009, 11:14 AM
your wrong, lol.

the ram just had larger tire's, wheelie bar with a rear batt mount and a body basically
this has a whole new chassis which is actually lifted this time, the motor is now mounted on the top of the gearbox, the chassis is also alot wider and more of a better platform to run better stuff off of. the servo appears to have a longer servo saver on it. the mhr also comes with a wall charger for the batt, not the normal battery filled carry around charger which have been modded before to plug into the wall. so over all i think its a pretty good setup and something im goin to grab and start workin on. i got images running through my head of what id like to do. now only if 3racing (have had best quality in parts for these little guys for me) will get on the ball and get parts made quick for these.. id love to polish a silver lift for this. :)

I stand corrected ....! I might have to pick one of these up!!
Ummmm any problems with the Losi's Micro line diffs? Or any other problems that cant be fixed..
Just thought I'd ask before I get into their Micros...

TyHodge07
09-20-2009, 10:40 AM
anything can be fixed, haha. and with the micros parts are really cheap. you can stock on stock parts for back up for like 30 bucks and not have to worry about anything. ive owned so many of these micro's and this one im most excited about, lol. cant wait for it.

Wonder if the raminator body will fit?

TyHodge07
09-21-2009, 09:25 AM
coulnt say just yet, the mhr chassis looks wider than the other chassis, so the body may not be wide enough. i like the look of the mhr body alot better tho.

The pre-drilled body mount holes in the 1/36 Raminator body do not line up with the Micro-HIGHroller body mounts but that is not to say someone couldn't make it fit and drill new holes. The clearences on the rear shock mounts are a little tight but not enough to stop anyone from trying!

makakoa808

So like umm no one has this in stock!!! Anyone pic one up yet??

so is the mhr chassis wider than the past chassis? its got more of a flatter wider lookin chassis from the top.

Does the stock AM radio that comes with these have end point adjustments, and do the Losi micro-t oil shocks work very well compared to the friction shocks?

the micro oil filled shocks from losi are great! I bout hot racing shocks then the toyz shocks and then the losi shocks. Let me tell ya the losi shocks are the best by far.

What weight shock oil do you use in your Losi shocks?

Thanks.

usually 15wt I have gone as high as 20 but they seem to packup to much that way. Sure wish there was a heavyier spring available for them though. I bought the option spring kit from losi, but they don't fit over the threads. They must be for the stock shocks.

Im thinking about ordering me a micro highroller today and I would like to get bearings with it. Do the bearings for the regular micro t fit the highroller also?

TyHodge07
10-02-2009, 06:08 PM
they should, the only wheels that hold the bearings are the front 2, the rear bearings go into the hubs, the hubs appear to be the same as all the other micro's, i dont see why they would switch it up. it would than turn the Micro HR into a sale killer since the parts would no longer be interchangable like the other micro's are.

Im going to grab me one here soon, but must i say, why supply a charger which takes 1-2 hours to charge the batt and remove a 15 min charger.. most people complain about not being able to remove the batts quicker in the past models so they could use 2 batts, because they didnt like waiting 15 mins for the stock batt to charge. now 1-2 hours to charge 1 small batt pack, which only lasts 10-15 mins in the car runing it. im sure there will be many complaints about that.. And why no light on the charger, most younger kids have been brought into the hobby with one of these micro's and now their supposed to assume the batt is charged when it may actually be way over charged. next. why switch up with new axels? there is ONLY 1 set of wheels that will fit the axels and that is the stocks, so now its a waiting game for someone to release threaded axels for just the HR and to keep the stock wheels from the HR. and if we plan to run another wheel, we than have to switch axels out. there are tons of wheels made to fit the ORIGINAL size axels, and now can not run them on here without switching to new axels.. pretty stupid move imo. but ill still be grabbing me one.

This is the first Micro I'ved owned. I must say very fun littel sucker. The one diffrence I found from driving a bigger scale RC is that once you let go of the throttle she stops... lol no rolling mass. And oh my gosh the parts are tiny... the turnbuckles look like little cut out clear plastic mylar... And the electronics look very diffrent.. where the ESC anc receiver.. lol. The micro world is very diffrent.. I'm not in Kansas any more..

Wonder what is the frist thing that will brake.. or what is the frist thing I should upgrade?

the first thing you should do is check your gear mesh and loosen the gearbox on the drivers side, there is 3 screws, just do it 1/4th turn until it loosens it up. this is why it stops and does not roll when you let off the throttle. also, as of right now... that i know of atleast. there is no wheel bearings nor threaded axels for the High Roller. the axels are different sized over the past micro's, so dont order anything for around the wheel area which is for the T.B.DT.Ram. since we no they wont work on this rc. just to save your time. but one other part i know works from seeing one of these already getting the hop up is the 3racing gearbox. it has bearings throughout the gearbox, increases runtime and allows for a better smoother ride.

basically, wheel bearings, threaded axels should be your first 2 upgraded. but since i dont think any i available right now and ive always recomended the bearing equipped gb's, than you may consider one of them.

certain parts yes.. the bearings have been confirmed to be the same, the axels are just longer. the gearbox is the same, arms, knuckles, such like that.. hr parts will take a month or longer before they start being released.

no T, B, DT wheels out now will work on it with the stock HR axel's. Only the HR wheels will work on the HR axels. if u swap to T threaded axels than any wheel will work on them BUT the HR wheels.

Anyone else having issues with the battery not charging on the HR?

I have only had it a month and charged it like 3 times and now it won't take a charge at all.

I tried different outlets and connected and reconnected the battery and still will not charge.

Anyone seen this issue with other battery packs?

did u leave the truck on with the battery plugged in?

I don't specifically remember doing that but I did notice when I whent to use it the truck was on and the batt was installed.

My wife may have been playing with it.

Even if the tx was not on would this run the battery below it min charge, I know NMH if you run them to dead they will not charge.

Anyway to verify if this is what has happened without buying a new battery?

yes, thats whats wrong... grab a 9v batt, plus it into ur stock nimah pack, pos to pos, neg to neg.. keep it pluged in 30 sec to 1 minute shiould be fine. than charge it back up.. should hold a charge again and be back to normal ;)

Great for the tip.

Well took it to the hobby shop and they tested the battery, turns out battery was fully charged just fine.

Looks like one of the connections on the car was not seated correctly, reset all connections by pulling them apart and putting them back in and she runs great now.

Time to invest in a ohm meter.

I just got a Micro Highroller for my birthday--great fun--it will do wheelies stock (while the battery is freshly charged) and handles quite well. The only problem I've had so far is that, right out of the box, I had to trim the steering all the way to the left just to get it to go in a straight line. After I ran it into a wall and bent the tie rod ever so slightly, it didn't quite have enough trim left to go straight. It should be an easy fix, though.

This is a fun little car out of the box. You can even make it do back flips with a fully charged battery.

Gun it backward then it full throttle foward and it will do a complete roll over and land back on its tires ready to go forward.

Looking forward to getting threaded axles for it once they come out. come on losi hurry up with the hop ups.

www.thetoyz.com will probably have the first threaded axels for these. ;) you would think losi would have put threaded axels on this considering the different axels over the other micro's. or atleast had them ready to buy.
