Yeah I hear ya. I found out today from Impact that the 44mm mount with the kit would fit the pletty, as long as the 80mm length doesn't affect anything.... What about the RCM mount? How is that one?

If you use the Tekno kit, you can run a long shank pinion to eliminate the clutch assembly.

Run the Losi conversion kit...IMO its A lot nicer and your not replacing your chassis with a Overly large dinner plate. :p

The clutch setup will let you rotate faster in the corners.ie: adjustable brake bias fluid[smooth] rather than a double tap controled skid In theory you don't have to go as deep into the corners combine that with a smart diff in the front and if skilled enough you should be able to drive the inside line more often.

My conversion with Losi gear can rotate soo much i oversteer into the pipe...and you say it can rotate faster then that.
No smart diff either....5/5/2 for diffs running Rx81900 on zippy 4S 5000.

I ended up going with the Losi kit, and everything fits nice! My first race is Saturday, hopefully things go well! Still have a bit of work to do though:

Unfortunatly it looks nothing like the losi and the battery tray looks rather smallish....70$ for the losi isn't a bad deal.
