I have a Losi MRC and I am wondering where people are getting their servo moutning plates from so they can do the full size servo conversion (like a Hi-Tec 645).
Thanks
I use Losi's lipo plate a redrilled holes for the mounting post.

A full size servo on an MRC? It's like putting that huge NIMH battery pack on the rear servo plate (my esc is on the rear plate). I just don't see it.
Why not get a high torque mini servo and share space with the 2S LiPo on the servo/LiPo battery plate? Mine is a Hitec HS-5245 MG. Perfect for this crawler. The maximum 6 volts to power the servo is coming from the bec in the Novak Mongoose Crawler combo. The stock esc's bec will not provide sufficient minimum voltage. I guess one would have to use an aftermarket external bec (Novak or Castle Creations?) for this combination.
Yes, I tried a mini servo but like my full size better. i Ran a mamba25 esc with a castle bec.Used a small zippy lipo on the rear servo plate.

Is your reason to use a full size servo to bring the weight to the front axle?
Maybe it's a visual thing. That big, hulking servo on the axle. Like the pictures of MRCs I've seen with the NIMH pack on the rear plate. There has to be an advantage to doing that. Still don't see it. However, I have seen them on YouTube, and they seem to crawler very well.
My choice to put the esc on the rear plate is because of the Comp Crawler. Saw those pictures of Richard T's crawler in it's debut and when I got the Mongoose Crawler esc, it's wires were long enough to do it. I've been happy since.
