Here's is the new battery the Team has been running for the past few weeks (LOSB9871). (http://www.losi.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=LOSB9871)

I ran these at the Worlds for the first time and noticed an increase in torque right off the bat. The increase in power really helps your crawler get out of those nasty binds we all fall into from time to time. Plus they are smaller then the 20C I've been running. So take a look at these next time your looking to purchase some new packs.

Have fun and enjoy your crawling adventures. :D

I love mine :D

I've been running them in the comp rig for a few weeks and they are a big improvement over the 20c packs. I ran two full courses at the Worlds on a pack and still had plenty of juice left.

I also dropped one into old TLT rock racer to see what would happen... shredded both drivelines in the first 10 minutes

What esc/motor are you running Jay, and how much runtime are you getting out of this battery?

I run the Xcelorin with the 21.5. I get about 30min of runtime out of my Comp Crawler.

I'm running the old 3S battery, with a 21.5 and an 18t pinion. How long are run times, on average? I haven't run my CCR yet, and was curious. If it's necessary, the esc/motor combo is Novak Goat 3S. And what size pinion are you running?

omg!!!
i can just imagine the carnage this could create in mini's...yee haa!!!
all we need now is a 3c lipo for our mirco's and they would go from insane power to ludacriss.
the mini t could manage 40 mph (highly moded) and 2c lipo i but some body has one in the works now to try 3c, they better put a gps finder on it..lol

What is the Mah rating on these batteries?

Nevermind, just clicked the link... 1350.

When will these be available along with the rockcrawler brushless combo. I have a losi CC just sitting here waiting.

At the Novak site they have a warning about using 25C or less LiPo with the Goat 3S (which I have in my LCC).

"Batteries that are rated at 25C or lower, generally, cannot sustain their voltage under load, causing a vehicle’s electronics, such as the ESC and receiver, to drop out intermittently"

Guess I'll have to buy the new 30C battery. Dang! And I just bought the old gen 3S battery! And because the Goat 3S uses the external bec for 3S operation, I have no available slots to use Novak's glitch buster capacitor that plugs into any open slot on the receiver. My receiver's slots are all full. Man, this truck is becoming expensive.:(

would this battery work in the night crawler?

would this battery work in the night crawler?

Not if you are using the stock ESC which is rated for a 2s 7.4v lipo. If you change out the electronics to something that will accept 3S, then yes you could use the battery in the Night Crawler.

Is there a size for this battery, just curious as to applications I can use this for.
