Hi,

I just bought my first nitro car and I've had some trouble with the SR3300T receiver. Everything worked fine in the beginning ie steering, throttle and AUX worked. All of a sudden the steering went awol then the throttle and AUX. I bought a new SR3300T and now it worked again - yay, or so I thought. Same thing is started to happen again with steering not working but throttle and AUX is operational. Afraid to power it on now.

I am using a Carson 5 Turbo Charger for the receiver battery

Specs:
Input: 230V~50Hz
Output: 6V DC 1000mA - Although on the back of the charger it says 7v output.
Charging indicator
Protection Built in fuse
Bec/J/R plugs

I bought it on ebay from a dealer in England and he shipped to Denmark for me.

Anything I am doing wrong?

Do you have another reciever battery pack you can try?

No, just the one that came with the truck.

I think it's weird that the telemetry gets screwed up. Also, when I switch it on the different motors are twitching, making sounds as if they are trying to move with a whirring sound. Normal, or?

If it is a light twitching and generally goes away as soon as you hit the steering or throttle, then yes, it is normal with the newer/better servos as I understand. My 8ight T does the same thing and scared the **** out of me at first.

If you can get a hold of a new rx battery pack I would try it out, maybe even just borrow one to test it. You may have a faulty battery pack giving you issues.

Thanks for help.

Will try buying a new Rx battery and hope I don't have to cash out any more dough. ;)

I would think that you could send the SR3300T and problematic battery back to Horizon for warranty replacement.
