The 2.0 tray has a few refinements that make it a better choice over the 1.0 tray. You could definitely go with the 2.0 radio tray and linkage, but that may not solve your problem. Throttle servos can go out with the 2.0 tray also if the EPA's aren't set just right or servo is too close the chassis and gets hit when the chassis flexes.

I am using a stiffner plate to raise my servos. Not sure if this would help you.

What servos are they? Some servos need to be raised...
Get back to me and I will tell you if they need to or not.
Also are your brake EPAs set right? And Is your battery fully charged? If your battery is dead then your servo may act like its messed up even though its your battery. Try fully charging your battery

this might help you i found that the servo was hitting the chassis casing it to burn out on my 2.0. so i but a 1/8 alum home made spacer under the servo and all is good. also i went to a Dynamite RC Pro Tune Throttle/Brake Linkage Set as i found the stock losi link to wear out way to fast

The best tire overall is the cityblock because they work at basicly at any track.

They don't work if there's to much loose stuff on the top of a hard surface. I made that mistake in a b-main. Normally I would have bumped up, but because of my tire choice i struggled all 20 minutes. It was like driving a boat, no grip at all which meant no brakes as well. :p
For the kinda dirt we have over here, I've found the XTT's to be a very good all round tire.
