Phase 1. Mock Up
This week I am going to order the parts for my conversion. The conversion is going to take a humble mini slider and turn it into a throphy truck. I will be using the Mini-Slider front clip. The motor will be mounted to a locked Mini Lst2 tranny. It will be placed in the middle of the chassis. The power will tranfered to th MRC rear end.
Updates will come when I got stuff to show. Tomorrow should be when I order parts to start mock up. Pics of mock up. Will come in right when parts arrive.
Ask questions, I am willing to answer.

That looks like a lot of fun. I have been working on a mid motor mini late model and a true 4 link mini late model just for the challenge

just a question, whats the point postin a pic the size of an avatar that shows absolutly no detail or even the slightest bit of anything, its sort of like tellin a blind man to check that hot chick out passin by. ;)

I back to work on the Mini-TT now. I got parts in for the links, and the MLST tranny case. I also switch the old shocks out for the aluminum ones. Well I think i better post up some larger pics this time.

i know most of you have seen this before, for it is just a MRC Axle. But the links in the picture won't be used on the project tho. I got some screws, that i am going to cut off the heads. Then i am going to use the screws as rods, with brass covers for them. the rear suspension is going to use a 4 link set up.

Sorry I didn't get back here soon enough.
The body is going to be the mini-slash, but might get a mini-truth from JConcepts later on.

Renamed to the Mini-SC.
this weekend was awesome for work on this project. Got some many new parts in I had so much to work on.
Saturday morning I went to the LHS (which isn't that Local) and got some upgrades for the truck. These including some Titanium Hing Pins from Lunsford. Body has been ordered.
When I got back in the afternoon I found a box with the parts that I ordered from StromerHobbies.com. This included some Blue Aluminum parts, MRC parts, and the rest to get the chassis mock up into progress.
That night I upgraded the front end.

Sunday was the Day of modify the little truck. I took my MRC chassis plates, and cut them in half. Then I made the lower links (they are a little short). Then started to try and make a 4 link onto the rear end.
