Hey all. Recently got a High roller and just joined the forum. I keep tearing up the gears in my truck. Where can I find metal gears?
Thanks

very fun truck i have every truck losi has released and this one is a fun truck the way it is. I would not recomend brushless on it. Perhaps a better speed control and motor. Truck jumps good and its a blast.

Which gears are you tearing up ? The spur gear or the tranny gears ?

I was thinking of getting that myself. Losi makes a metal gear LOSB3593 and and aluminum idler gear LOSB3548 for the HR.

Congratulations. I'm a Traxxas guy but really need to start working on my Mini-T.

The tranny gears went first. What do you mean by the spur gear? Is that the one that is in connection with the differential gears? Reason I ask is that I shredded that one too.

The spur gear is getting pretty worn. Must not have the motor adjusted right. Also shredded the idler gear.

Are you running the stock motor in it ?

Really do enjoy the truck. Love the look and the long travel suspension. Would definately recommend it for anyone thinking of getting into RC trucks. I use it mainly for thrashing around the yard and in the desert between dirt bike rides. I'm not a serious racer by any means, but I do enjoy driving the heck out of the truck.
I am running the stock motor. Could I have the tension on the spur gear set too tight? Would that make a difference?

All the metal gears for the STRIKE are direct bolt-ins for the High Roller and Slider.
