1/18 Desert Truck

I am a total RC virgin. Bought this truck for my son. It came with a small package of plastic parts. 12 small circular clips, a small allen key, and 2 small plastic molded parts. Any idea what they are for?

Also, should I clip the antennae wire that sticks out of the little antennae tube?

Hello, I'm sure your son is going to love the Mini DT, I just picked one up myself and it has been great fun.

The circular clips are spacers that go on the shock tubes and alow adjustment of the springs dampening. The 2 small plastic molded parts, one should be cross shaped, this is the wrench for your wheel nuts and other things on the truck, the other is an extra battery hold down (IIRC).

As for the extra antennae wire, I would (in fact I did) tie a small knot in it where it comes out of the tube and then run the extra wire down the tube and tape it in place. Careful not to tie it too tight and snap the wire inside. Someone else may have a better idea but that's what I've always done.
