I drove the LST2 on sunday at the local track and it was amazing. In the straights I smoked the mod truggies and it was great. I did run into an issue that the transmission would not shift into second gear all of the time when the motor winded out. I am thinking that it is an adjustment and I am tearing it down this week. I ran into another issue with the transmission not going into forward gear and I actually had to disable the servo and put it into forward manually. It ran great for a while until I stopped to get it and then it shifted into reverse and started to move. My question on this is should I tear down and rebuild or is their a forward only or can I lock the transmission in forward only without purchasing anything. Thanks in advance

Yes there is a forard only conversion AKA FOC! You can go to WWW.LSTFORUMS.COM
and search for FOC and you will see step by step instructions with pics also!

Also you can do a gear swap mod that wil gain MPH also! Just search for that also while there!;)

Yes there is a forward only kit it cost about$15. You're truck should shift into 2nd about 12 to15 feet from a stand still if it isn't you need to adjust you're shift points do it in small adjustments and remember you have to adjust both sides equally

I'm having problems with shifting too. I bought a brand new set of clutch shoes and the motor winds out prior to shifting. When I initially put it together I slightly bottomed out the screws and then back the screw out to stock 5 turns. I did back them out one at a time versus alternating does that matter? They are both backed out the same amoutn of turns just not alternating one to the other.
