I have been buying nothing but Losi kits since 94. I have decided to venture into 1/8E buggy class. I have compared all my options and have ordered my first ever non Losi, due to the fact of them not having the race roller available in electric. Anyway if there is a release consider one sold.

If you really don't want the electronics you can get a nitro kit and put on the electric conversion and get your own electronics. There are options out there for you. You are missing out to. The 8ight is a pretty outstanding platform. What did you go with?
